a letter from my 80 year old self

I have seen people writing their younger selves a letter, but what if we actually received this letter- what would yours say?

What would your older self tell YOU right now?

I know my 80 year old self will have PLENTY more to say than just this, but I’m pretty confident the message would have something in there about this…

“Thank you for being strong, showing up at the gym on days you didn’t want to, lifting weights, and prioritizing your health.

Thank you for rebuilding your relationship with food, stopping yo-yo diets, and eating to fuel your lifestyle.

Thank you for finding wonder in the outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and discovering joy in movement.

At 80 years old, your bones are strong and healthy. You live an active lifestyle.
You see your friends start to wither away a while you don’t have the strength you had in your 30s and 40s, you are definitely still reaping the benefits!”
